UTM Innovation and Commercialisation Centre (UTM ICC) has invited Dr Ma Kalthum Ishak from the Faculty of Management UTM to offer her knowledge on “Ethics in Intellectual Property Filing.” It is crucial for academics and researchers to understand the fundamentals of intellectual property, what conduct is ethical and what is not, as well as their rights and obligations as Universiti Teknologi Malaysia staff in regards to safeguarding the University’s IP rights.
Dr Ma Kalthum or fondly known as Dr Umiey is our faculty’s expert in Intellectual Property Law and International Business Law. She is a member of the Department of Management and Technology and Service Quality Research Group (SQRG).
