A warm welcome to Asst. Prof. Dr. Faisal Sher who has embarked on postdoctorate journey at the Faculty of Management, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) under the mentorship of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Suresh Ramakrishnan. This esteemed UTM Postdoctoral Fellowship spans from 1 July 2023 to June 30 2024.
Dr. Faisal brings a wealth of experience with over 14 years as an Assistant Professor at the Department of Accounting and Finance at Abdul Wali Khan University Mardan, Pakistan. His expertise shines through his PhD in Banking and Finance from the Near East University, North Cyprus.
Dr. Faisal is a prolific researcher, with numerous publications in esteemed journals like the Journal of Resources Policy, International Journal of Finance and Economics, International Journal of Emerging Markets, Quarterly Review of Economics and Finance, Financial Innovation, International Review of Economics and Finance, Asia-Pacific Journal of Accounting and Economics, Environmental Science and Pollution Research, among others. Dr. Faisal’s contributions extend to mentoring students, having guided seven master’s students, one PhD student as the main supervisor, and two overseas PhD students as co-supervisors. His dedication has led to the graduation of impactful researchers. Under Dr. Faisal’s guidance, one PhD student achieved an impact factor of 50, and another co-supervised PhD student graduated from UTM reached an impact factor of 60 in Finance.
