Today, 10 May 2024, a momentous event unfolded at Dewan Merdeka, WTC Kuala Lumpur as Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) witnessed the historic launch of the Malaysia Artificial Intelligence Nexus (MAIN) and the inauguration of its new Faculty of Artificial Intelligence, the first of its kind in Malaysia.

The books represent a substantial contribution to the field of AI education, showcasing the authorsโ devotion to advancing societyโs knowledge of AI.
The launch of UTM new Faculty AI demonstrates the Malaysian governmentโs dedication to the national AI development. The initial allocation of RM20 million in the 2024 budget emphasises this commitment. Additionally, the Ministry of Higher Educationโs (Kementerian Pendidikan Tinggi) creation of an AI consortium, involving universities, government bodies, and industry experts, definitely promotes essential collaboration among Malaysian important stakeholders. This strategic initiative positions Malaysia to become a leader in various sectors, equipping the nation to tackle future challenges.

The Faculty of Management express our gratitude and congratulates the Prime Minister YAB Datoโ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, and the Malaysian Government especially YB Datoโ Seri Diraja Dr. Zambry Abd Kadir (Minister of Higher Education), Prof. Datuk Ir.
