Faculty of Management, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) had the utmost pleasure of welcoming members and speakers from the Malaysian Institute of Accountants (MIA) Johor to share their knowledge and experiences in the โ๐๐ซ๐จ๐๐๐ฌ๐ฌ๐ข๐จ๐ง๐๐ฅ ๐๐๐ซ๐๐๐ซ ๐๐๐ญ๐ก๐ฐ๐๐ฒ ๐ข๐ง ๐๐๐๐จ๐ฎ๐ง๐ญ๐ข๐ง๐ ’ talk. The speakers representing MIA were Mr Wong Wen Tak, Puan Norherienda Abdul Kadir, and Ms Chan Hua Seng.
The session attracted our Bachelor of Accounting students from year 3 and 4. It was an inspiring and insightful knowledge sharing from experienced practitioners and managers on how to chart a career as a professional accountant. The audience was also exposed to tips on staying resilient and gaining as much experience as possible in their working life. The ultimate aim was to instil the drive and motivation for students to plan their career journey once they graduate.
