A clean and organised faculty ensures a smooth start to the new semester, benefiting both students and staff alike. With 𝑴𝒊𝒏𝒈𝒈𝒖 𝑴𝒆𝒔𝒓𝒂 𝑴𝒂𝒉𝒂𝒔𝒊𝒔𝒘𝒂 (Student Welcome Week) commencing on 28 September 2024, the Faculty of Management, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) recognises the importance of providing a welcoming and well prepared space, not only for new students but also for returning senior students. A tidy and organised environment fosters productivity and motivation for all.
As such, the faculty held a 𝒈𝒐𝒕𝒐𝒏𝒈-𝒓𝒐𝒚𝒐𝒏𝒈 or spring cleaning event aimed at sprucing up the faculty’s facilities. Organised by the 𝐅𝐌 𝐒𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐥𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐭𝐭𝐞𝐞 (𝐆𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐎𝐟𝐟𝐢𝐜𝐞), the event took place on 26 September 2024 and was led by Mr Aminudden Janal.

The event began with opening remarks from the Dean of FM, Professor Dr Ahmad Jusoh, followed by speeches from the Head of the FM Sustainability Committee (Green Office), Lt Col PM Dr Mohd Noor Azli Ali Khan, and FM Deputy Registrar, Mr Mohd Syazli Md Tahir. Around 40 participants attended the event, comprising FM Executive Committee members, academic staff, and support staff, who took part in cleaning and inspecting key areas such as FM Square, the FM Convention Hall, and all lecture rooms and classrooms. Tasks included setting up 40 sets of tables and chairs for the FM Meet Up 2024 event and ensuring that all facilities were spotless and ready for use.
Well done to everyone involved!
This initiative truly demonstrates FM’s highest commitment to maintaining a conducive learning environment.
