14 December 2024, Associate Professor Noorminshah Iahad, President of the Association for Information Systems Malaysia Chapter (MyAIS) proudly participated in the Pre-ICIS Conference Workshop titled “Harmonizing Horizons: Glocalization of IS in Thalland and Southeast Asia” in Bangkok, Thailand.
Dr Noorminshah Ahad was accompanied by five PhD students who volunteered in organizing the event.
The workshop, co-organized and co-sponsored by Carnegie Mellon University, was a platform for researchers, academics, and practitioners in Information Systems to exchange ideas and enhance regional collaboration.

On behalf of UTM and AIS Malaysia Chapter, Associate Professor Dr Noorminshah received a token of appreciation presented by Associate Professor Dr. Savanid (Nui) Vatanasakdakul, President of the AIS Thai Chapter.
