27th December 2024, Faculty of Management UTM organized Work-Based Learning (WBL) program for the students of Bachelor of Management (Technology) with honours. The destination located at Pulau Kukup National Park- one of the largest mangrove islands in the world. The island covering an area of โโ647 hectares, is an important protected area for mangrove-related plants and animals; and several species that are considered rare or endangered.
Students had the unique opportunity to explore the Customer Experience touchpoints and Service quality factors at one of Malaysiaโs most stunning Ramsar site.
This hands-on learning approach allowed students to gain real-world insights into managing service quality in a tourism setting and understand the importance of customer satisfaction in preserving eco-tourism.
