20 January 2025, The 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 (𝗠𝗢𝗧) 𝗦𝘆𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗶𝘂𝗺 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝗮 𝗗𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗿, held on January 20, 2025, celebrated the hard work and achievements of 62 final-year project students from the 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆.
The symposium occurred from 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, where all 62 students presented their projects. This was followed by an award ceremony and a prestigious gala dinner at the Impiana Hotel Senai at 8:00 PM. The event was officially inaugurated by our esteemed 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝗻, 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗼𝗿 𝗗𝗿. 𝗔𝗵𝗺𝗮𝗱 𝗯𝗶𝗻 𝗝𝘂𝘀𝗼𝗵, and was attended by distinguished guests, including the 𝐃𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐨𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐞𝐜𝐡𝐧𝐨𝐥𝐨𝐠𝐲 (𝐌𝐎𝐓), 𝐃𝐫. 𝐑𝐨𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐳𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐭𝐢 𝐌𝐨𝐡𝐝 𝐍𝐨𝐨𝐫, MOT lecturers, final-year students, and student representatives from the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd-year cohorts. The gala dinner embraced the vibrant theme of “𝗔𝗹𝗹 𝗔𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗹𝗱.”
A total of 24 awards were presented, with 11 awards recognizing 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗮𝗽𝗲𝗿𝘀 and another 11 honouring 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘀 in each room for their outstanding contributions, two awards for the Overall Best Paper and Overall Best Presenter. Additionally, three papers won in the 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲 category, an accolade sponsored by the 𝗝𝗼𝘂𝗿𝗻𝗮𝗹 𝗼𝗳 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝗶𝗲𝘀. Adding a touch of excitement to the evening, the 𝗕𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗗𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗔𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 were presented to two MOT lecturers and two students, recognizing their impeccable style in both male and female categories.
