

We are proud to share that Dr. Teh Zaharah and Dr. Mohd Zulfabli from the Faculty of Management UTM , Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) were invited as guest lecturers and participated in community service initiatives in Padang, Indonesia.

Both lecturers delivered insightful sessions to undergraduate and postgraduate students:
Dr. Zul Zulfabli Hasan shared on the topic “𝑳𝒆𝒂𝒏 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑴𝒆𝒂𝒏: 𝑯𝒐𝒘 𝑶𝒑𝒆𝒓𝒂𝒕𝒊𝒐𝒏𝒔 𝑫𝒓𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝑬𝒇𝒇𝒊𝒄𝒊𝒆𝒏𝒄𝒚”, emphasizing how lean principles enhance organizational performance.
Dr. Teh Zaharah Yaacob presented on “𝑷𝒓𝒐𝒄𝒖𝒓𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕 𝒂𝒏𝒅 𝑺𝒖𝒑𝒑𝒍𝒚 𝑪𝒉𝒂𝒊𝒏 𝑴𝒂𝒏𝒂𝒈𝒆𝒎𝒆𝒏𝒕”, discussing effective strategies in supply network design and sourcing decisions.
For postgraduate students, both lecturers conducted a knowledge-sharing session on quantitative and qualitative research methods, bridging theory and practical applications for academic excellence.

As part of our commitment to impactful academic service, both lecturers also extended their expertise to support the local embroidery and tailoring industry:
Dr. Zulfabli provided consultation on lean management approaches to improve workflow and reduce waste in operations. Meanwhile, Dr. Teh Zaharah advised on supply chain strategies to enhance procurement and delivery efficiency for better market reach.
