On 19th June, the Faculty of Management UTM is thrilled to welcome Professor Dr. Ken Kamoche from the Nottingham University Business School (NUBS), University of Nottingham, UK, as our newly appointed Visiting Professor. Serving in this prestigious role until March 2027, Professor Kamoche is a renowned expert in HRM, Organization Studies, and talent management, bringing a wealth of international insight and acclaimed research expertise to our academic community.
An exceptionally distinguished global scholar, Professor Kamoche earned a Rhodes Scholarship to study management at the University of Oxford. Recently, he was ranked in the top 1.98% of scientists worldwide by Stanford University. He joins us from an institution that stands proudly among the worldโ€™s elite, with the University of Nottingham securing #97th place globally in the ๐Ÿ๐ŸŽ๐Ÿ๐Ÿ• ๐‘ธ๐‘บ ๐‘พ๐’๐’“๐’๐’… ๐‘ผ๐’๐’Š๐’—๐’†๐’“๐’”๐’Š๐’•๐’š ๐‘น๐’‚๐’๐’Œ๐’Š๐’๐’ˆ. His extensive research portfolio spans talent and knowledge management, Africa-Asia business relations, e-business, and the impacts of AI on organizational studies.
His visit is already off to a fantastic start, beginning with strategic discussions on future academic and research collaborations between NUBS and FM, led by Associate Professor Dr. Batiah Mahadi, Head of the Department of Management & Technology, and her team. Professor Kamoche will be hosted at the Faculty of Management until 25 June 2026.
