Faculty of Management UTM celebrates the outstanding achievements of twelve undergraduate students who represented the faculty at the 10th International Undergraduate Research Conference (IURC) 2026, held on 27β28 June 2026. Organised by UGS, UTM under the UTM Ascend 2030 initiative, the conference adopted a hybrid format, with the online session taking place on 27 June and the physical session held at Le Grandeur Palm Resort, Senai, Johor Bahru on 28 June 2026.
Carrying the theme “From Fundamental Discovery to Real-World Application,” IURC 2026 provided an international platform for undergraduate researchers to present innovative ideas and research with meaningful societal impact.
Representing the Faculty of Management, students from the Bachelor of Accounting with Honours and Bachelor of Management with Honours programmes presented twelve original research papers covering a diverse range of contemporary topics, including financial behaviour, environmental, social and governance (ESG) practices, sustainability, auditing, digital transformation, artificial intelligence, and emerging technologies. Their research demonstrated strong analytical capability and highlighted the faculty’s commitment to producing graduates equipped to address real-world challenges.
The conference concluded with remarkable success for the Faculty of Management, as our students secured several prestigious awards in the Social Science & Humanities category.
