Strengthening International Academic and Industry Collaboration between UTM and Universitas Airlangga
On 5 August 2026, the Faculty of Management, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), welcomed a delegation from Universitas Airlangga, Indonesia, for the International Academic and Industry Engagement Programme.
Professor Dr Ahmad bin Jusoh, Dean of the Faculty of Management, delivered the welcoming remarks and warmly engaged with the delegates.
An introduction to the Faculty of Management, including its academic programmes, areas of expertise and international engagement activities, was delivered by Professor Dr Norhayati Zakuan, External and Global Relations Manager.
The programme also featured an industry-sharing session entitled “Procurement Industry Trends in Malaysia: Developments, Practices and Current Challenges” by Mr Hafizi Zikry bin Hasim from Iskandar Investment Berhad, followed by an industry visit to BMW Senai.
This programme is expected to further strengthen the relationship between the two universities and create more opportunities for academic collaboration, research, publications, global mobility and industry engagement.
