Dr. Mohd Zulfabli Hasan
Dr. Mohd Zulfabli Bin Hasan is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Management, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor Bahru. He holds expertise in Operations Management, Project Management, Lean Management, and Sustainability, with extensive experience in teaching undergraduate and postgraduate courses. He is actively involved in curriculum development, student supervision, and academic advisory roles, including serving as a co-supervisor for postgraduate students in management and supply chain–related fields. Dr. Zulfabli is highly engaged in research and innovation, leading and collaborating on numerous funded projects at national and institutional levels. His research interests focus on Lean Management practices, sustainability performance, service quality, community-based innovation, and the integration of lean thinking with higher education pedagogy. He has led research projects funded under schemes such as FRGS and institutional grants, and has authored academic publications, book chapters, and conference papers in these areas. Beyond academia, Dr. Zulfabli is deeply involved in community engagement and service-learning initiatives. He has spearheaded and advised multiple community-based programmes focusing on financial literacy, green innovation, recycled product development, SME empowerment, and B40 community development, aligning closely with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). He also plays an active role in organising large-scale academic and innovation events, including international exhibitions, industry summits, and student innovation competitions. His professional contributions extend to serving as a judge, jury member, programme director, and advisor for various academic, innovation, and industry-linked platforms, reflecting his strong commitment to impactful education, applied research, and sustainable community development.
