Dr. Norasnita Ahmad
Dr. Norasnita Ahmad is a Senior Lecturer in Information Systems at the Faculty of Management, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (FM, UTM). She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and a Master’s degree in Information Technology Management, both from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. She earned her PhD from the University of Birmingham, UK. Her academic journey reflects strong expertise in information systems, educational technology, and digital transformation in higher education. She has extensive experience teaching IS/IT-related courses, including Digital Business Project Management, Marketing Information Systems, IT for Organizational Transformation, Agile Project Management, Systems Analysis and Design, and Database Systems. Dr. Norasnita currently serves as the Manager of Quality and Strategy at FM, UTM. Since 2019, she has been actively involved in overseeing academic quality assurance and strategic planning. She is also a certified auditor for UTM’s academic programs, underscoring her commitment to maintaining excellence in higher education. Her research and supervision activities primarily focus on information systems and educational technology. Her work encompasses areas such as information systems adoption, user engagement in digital platforms, gamification in online learning environments, adaptive learning technologies, business intelligence, digital transformation, and social media. She has published extensively in these fields, contributing to both theoretical and applied advancements in educational technology. Beyond academia, Dr. Norasnita has been actively engaged in consultancy projects, applying information systems to both academic and industry contexts.
