Ernst And Young Engagement Session With Accounting Students

On 14 February 2019, a sharing session from one of the Big-Four audit and professional services firms, Ernst & Young Malaysia (EY), took place in AHIBS. The honoured speakers, Ms. Judy Lim from EY Headquarters in KL and Ms. Zaiti Waddell from Kaplan Financial, shared current updates of the profession. The online learning system via Kaplan Professional Accountancy Training was also introduced to the students as a platform to conduct accounting classes for professional certificates including ACCA, ICAEW and CPA Australia. The speakers also shared benefits of joining the E&Y Young Tax Professional 2019 to be held soon this year. Ms. Judy also encouraged students to apply for internship in E&Y in order to experience working as a professional in the fields such as assurance, tax and advisory.
