The discussion focused on how the facultyโs talented students and dedicated staff can support MRLโs preparations for their full-scale operation in January 2027. FM was represented by the Dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmad Jusoh and the Deputy Dean (Academic and Student Affairs), Dr. Nor Zafir Md. Salleh.
Datoโ Sri Darwis shared invaluable insights from his leadership of the monumental Malaysia-China G2G railway project, the East Coast Rail Link – ECRL which is currently 65% complete. His leadership drives the project towards successful completion, setting a benchmark in international collaboration.
Future collaborations were outlined between FM UTM and MRL including Adjunct Professor appointment, real-world case studies, cutting-edge research activities, and impactful Industrial Talks. The transformative Student CEO program will also be included under the new MOU.
