Azmirul Ashaari

Dr. Azmirul Ashaari has been with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) since 2019 and is currently a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Management, where he also serves as a Panel Head in the Management and Technology cluster. He is also actively engaged in programme coordination, particularly for undergraduate part-time (SPACE) academic structures, where he works closely with administrative teams, students, and external stakeholders to support smooth programme delivery. His involvement includes managing academic, monitoring course progress, and guiding students through academic and professional development. He has over 6 years of teaching experience in Malaysia, supporting both full-time and part-time academic programmes across UTM’s various learning platforms. His research passion is specializing in fuzzy graph, mathematical modelling, dynamic system, fuzzy modelling, operation management, human resource management, service quality, logistics and supply chain management and applied quantitative analytics in management. Over the years, he has written more than 35 publications, including journal articles, conference papers, and book chapters with reputable international publishers. Dr. Azmirul earned his bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia at 2012. His PhD thesis is Multidimensional System Modelling Using Autocatalytic Set Algorithm focused on advanced applications of fuzzy modelling and mathematical systems (Universiti Teknologi Malaysia – 2018) establishing the foundation for his ongoing research contributions in quantitative management.
