In preparing our third-year Bachelor of Accounting students for the evolving demands of the auditing profession, the Faculty of Management (FM) went the extra mile by organizing the Audit Plus AI Workshop and Certification for Future Auditors. The workshop was held on 4 January 2026 at CyberLab, Faculty of Management UTM
AuditPlus is a web-based auditing software widely adopted by audit firms to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of audit processes through technology and data-driven approaches. The workshop was conducted by experienced trainers, Mr Nicholas and Mr Jodi from Audit Technology Sdn. Bhd., who provided valuable industry insights alongside practical guidance.

The primary objective of the workshop was to equip students with essential, industry-relevant auditing skills that go beyond classroom concepts and theoretical knowledge. Through hands-on activities and real-world audit scenarios, students gained meaningful exposure to technology-enabled auditing practices.
The workshop was highly engaging, with the participation of 67 students. Feedback received indicated an overwhelmingly positive response, particularly towards the effectiveness of the practical, hands-on learning experience.
