𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐬 𝐈𝐛𝐧𝐮 𝐒𝐢𝐧𝐚 (𝐔𝐈𝐒), 𝐁𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐦 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐨𝐧𝐞𝐬𝐢𝐚 𝐃𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐄𝐱𝐩𝐥𝐨𝐫𝐞𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐎𝐩𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐅𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐠𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭

Led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ir. Larisang, Rector of UIS, the delegation comprised 11 esteemed representatives from UIS. They were warmly received by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mahadi Bahari, Deputy Dean (Research & Innovation), along with Dr. Farrah Merlinda, Dr. Umar Haiyat, and Deputy Registrar Syazli Tahir.

During the visit, discussions focused on opportunities for joint academic programs, research collaborations, student and staff exchange programs, as well as other initiatives that could enhance knowledge-sharing and institutional growth for both universities.

 

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Mahadi Bahari expressed optimism about the prospects of collaboration, stating, “This engagement provides a valuable platform for both UTM and UIS to strengthen academic ties and explore mutually beneficial initiatives that will contribute to the advancement of education and research.”

Meanwhile, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ir. Larisang emphasized UIS’s commitment to international collaboration, highlighting that working closely with established institutions like UTM could open doors to broader academic and research opportunities for both faculties.

The visit concluded with an exchange of souvenir and a tour of Faculty of Management facilities, allowing the UIS delegation to gain insights into the university’s academic infrastructure and academic ecosystem.
