19 November 2024, Everybody loves chocolate but not many chocolate lovers understand the cocoa business. To better understand the cocoa business, Faculty of Management UTM, successfully organised an Industry Sharing Session with JB Cocoa Sdn Bhd. on 19 November 2024. The session was aimed to provide students with real-world insights into the cocoa industry while strengthening university-industry ties.

The event also included an alumni sharing session where UTM graduates, now working with JB Cocoa, shared their career journeys, giving students a firsthand perspective on transitioning from university to industry.
The session was a fantastic platform for students to learn, network, and explore career opportunities in the cocoa industry. The event concluded with a lively Q&A session, where students posed thoughtful questions about sustainability practices, career prospects, and the future of the cocoa industry.
The event was organised by Dr. Mohamad Shah Kassim and Dr. Siti Aisah Sahlan and students from the International Business & Globalisation course.
