Faculty of Management UTM, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) was honoured to welcome a delegation from Alibaba Intime Commercial Group, China in a courtesy and exploratory academic visit.
The delegation was warmly received by Prof. Dr. Ahmad Jusoh, Dean of the Faculty of Management. The delegation lead by Yin Zhi Ping, Director, Alibaba Intime Commercial Group, Tao Lei, Chairman, Zhizai Education Group, Alibaba Strategy Partner, Xia Min Yi, Vice President, Zhizai Education Group, Alibaba Strategy Partner, Yang Ming and other representative from Yunnan College of Finance and Economics and representative from Gtex Asia.
The visit aimed to explore potential areas of academic collaboration, particularly in education-related initiatives, talent development and innovative learning opportunities. Both parties exchanged ideas on strengthening international partnerships that support digital transformation and future-ready education.
Following the discussion, the delegation toured several facilities at the Faculty of Management, including the proposed E-Business Studio , envisioned as a hub for digital commerce learning, industry engagement and hands-on student experience.
This visit marks a positive step toward fostering impactful international collaboration and expanding opportunities for students and academics at UTM.
