Building a Zero Food Waste Community:
A Stellar 5-Star achievement championed by Dr. Yogeeswari Subramaniam

By educating and engaging children at the Jeremiah Welfare Charity Society in food waste reduction, composting, and eco-conscious practices, it has fostered a new generation of environmentally aware citizens. Recloth: A Vibrant 4-Star Textile Recycling Revolution led by Associate Professor Dr. Thoo Ai Chin
Recloth has redefined the landscape of textile waste management. Collecting an impressive 1.5 tonnes of textiles, donated to Life Line Clothing Malaysia (LLCM), this initiative is distinguished by its impactful approach to recycling and sustainable living. It is a bold statement on the power of community action and ecological responsibility, making a lasting impact on environmental conservation.
The Digital Entrepreneur Service Learning Program: A Robust 3-Star Digital Empowerment conducted by Dr. Mohd Zulfabli Hasan
This innovative programme has successfully transitioned 30 local businesses in Taman Universiti, Johor Bahru into the digital era. By equipping entrepreneurs with key digital marketing skills, it has not only enhanced their business acumen but also fostered a spirit of adaptability and growth in the digital marketplace. This initiative supports UTM’s commitment to nurturing digital proficiency and entrepreneurial innovation within the community.
