Faculty of Management, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) places great importance on widening access to education, particularly for individuals with relevant work experience.
We are not just shaping academic pathways, but also redefining the future of education by breaking down barriers and creating opportunities for all.
On 23-24 September 2024, 20 dedicated lecturers from the faculty attended the APEL C Development Course held at the Ibis Styles Hotel, Nusajaya.
The primary aim of this course was to develop assessment instruments that will enable students or applicants with professional backgrounds to receive credit exemptions through APEL C, specifically for all the Bachelor’s program at FM. This initiative reflects the faculty’s commitment to providing flexible educational pathways that recognise and value prior learning and experience.
Led by two outstanding experts, Associate Professor Dr. Norliza Mohamed as the speaker and Dr. Nazmona Mat Ali as the facilitator, participants received valuable guidance in creating these exemption instruments.
