4 𝐅𝐞𝐛𝐫𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐲 2025 , a delegation from the Faculty of Management, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) made an official visit to the 𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐚𝐥 𝐀𝐧𝐭𝐢-𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐠𝐬 𝐀𝐠𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐲 (𝐀𝐀𝐃𝐊) 𝐇𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐪𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐬 to discuss a strategic collaboration in the application of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to enhance the prevention, treatment, and enforcement of drug abuse-related issues.
This visit follows the Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) signed in 2024 for the project 𝐂𝐫𝐨𝐬𝐬-𝐁𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐃𝐫𝐮𝐠 𝐈𝐬𝐬𝐮𝐞𝐬: 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐋𝐞𝐠𝐚𝐥𝐢𝐬𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐂𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐬 𝐢𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐚𝐢𝐥𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈𝐭𝐬 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐥𝐢𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐲𝐬𝐢𝐚. The Faculty of Management delegation was led by:

This visit reflects the commitment of the Faculty of Management, UTM, to exploring technology-driven solutions to address social challenges and strengthen collaboration between academic institutions and government agencies in tackling drug-related issues more effectively and innovatively.
This partnership is expected to open up new opportunities for research, innovation, and AI applications in social and community safety domains.
