Faculty of Management UTM), through the Department of Management and Technology, successfully organized the Customs Certification Course on 2 December 2025 for students Year 3 Bachelor of Management with Honours and Year 4 Bachelor of Management (Technology) with Honours programs.
The one-day program was held in collaboration with the Royal Malaysian Customs Department (JKDM) Johor and featured two distinguished speakers: Tuan Mohd Arif Bin Md Kurdi, Deputy Director of Customs, Industry Division, and Tuan Mirzan Bin Harun, Deputy Director of Customs, Import Division.
Students gained practical exposure to customs passenger inspection, import and export procedures, and customs evaluation, providing essential insights into global trade and cross border operations. The certification also serves as a valuable addition to student’s academic profiles and resumes, enhancing their readiness for future careers.
