๐๐ง๐ง๐จ๐ฏ๐๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง ๐๐๐จ๐ง๐จ๐ฆ๐ข๐๐ฌ ๐๐๐ฌ๐๐๐ซ๐๐ก ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ฎ๐ฉ (๐๐๐๐), Faculty of Management, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) lead by ๐๐ซ. ๐๐๐ง๐ข๐ง๐ข ๐๐ฅ๐ฒ๐๐ง๐ ๐๐ก๐ ๐๐๐ฌ๐ก๐ข๐ฆ, recently launched an impactful project on recycling used cooking oil through the ๐๐ง๐จ๐ฐ๐ฅ๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐ซ๐๐ง๐ฌ๐๐๐ซ ๐๐ซ๐จ๐ ๐ซ๐๐ฆ๐ฆ๐ (๐๐๐@๐
๐๐๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฒ).
14 local vendors from Medan Selera Taman Sri Pulai gathered on 27 October 2024 to learn how recycling used cooking oil can reduce environmental harm and boost their income. Through interactive sessions and hands-on training, they discovered safe and effective methods for collecting and processing used oil that open up new income opportunities while contributing to sustainability.

Raising awareness about the environmental risks of improper oil disposal. Hands-on training in collection, storage, and resale processes. Building connections between vendors and potential buyers to support a circular economy.This initiative aligns with UTMโs mission to promote sustainable development and strengthen local economies. The Faculty of Management hopes to expand similar projects to other communities, creating a culture of environmental responsibility with tangible benefits.
