The discussion focused on how the facultyโ€™s talented students and dedicated staff can support MRLโ€™s preparations for their full-scale operation in January 2027. FM was represented by the Dean, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ahmad Jusoh and the Deputy Dean (Academic and Student Affairs), Dr. Nor Zafir Md. Salleh.
Datoโ€™ Sri Darwis shared invaluable insights from his leadership of the monumental Malaysia-China G2G railway project, the East Coast Rail Link – ECRL which is currently 65% complete. His leadership drives the project towards successful completion, setting a benchmark in international collaboration.
Future collaborations were outlined between FM UTM and MRL including Adjunct Professor appointment, real-world case studies, cutting-edge research activities, and impactful Industrial Talks. The transformative Student CEO program will also be included under the new MOU.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Datoโ€™ Sri Darwis for his visionary leadership and unwavering support to our academic and research initiatives.
Together, we are building bridges, creating opportunities, and shaping futures!
