The Bachelor of Management (Marketing) students of the Faculty of Management UTM successfully hosted the Marketing Symposium & Dinner 2026 (MARS 26); a signature programme grounded in project-based and experiential learning through real academic and professional practice.
Introduced in 2004, MARS carries a 22-year legacy, reflecting Design and Creativity in Marketing, where students learn by planning, coordinating, and delivering a large-scale academic event.
For many students, MARS is their first experience organising and presenting in a formal conference setting, marking an important early milestone in their academic journey.
The morning session featured parallel academic viva presentations, followed by the evening symposium dinner and award presentations, themed Movie Night, celebrating student achievements before graduation.
Organised by first-year Marketing students (SFMFH) under the guidance of their subject lecturer, the team, coming from diverse backgrounds, worked closely together, gaining early exposure to collaboration, coordination, and academic practice.
From organisers today to presenters tomorrow, MARS reflects a learning journey that continues across a student’s academic life at FM UTM. Until the next MARS.
