Muhammad Hazim Roslan Receives UTM Alumni Awards: A Journey of Dedication and Achievement

Heartiest congratulations to Mr. Muhammad Hazim Roslan, Faculty of Management’s graduate in Bachelor of Management (Marketing) who has recently been honoured with the distinguished Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) Alumni Award at the 67th Convocation Ceremony. Hazim’s educational path was not just about maintaining high grades. It was enriched by a spectrum of experiences, notably his involvement in the “Student Exchange Program for Summer Semester” which took him to the Czech Republic. The 6-month program was a significant milestone in his academic journey, enhancing his communication skills and exposing him to a myriad of cultures through a broadened global perspective.

Hazim was born into a middle-income family in the vibrant town of Pasir Gudang, Johor, where his upbringing was steeped in the values of hard work and perseverance. During his undergraduate degree, Hazim delved deep into his marketing and management studies, driven by his aspiration to become an entrepreneur.

His dedication extended beyond the classroom, as he actively engaged in university clubs and societies, assuming various leadership roles that ranged from department head to top management positions. These roles not only showcased his leadership skills but also earned him consecutive awards in Anugerah Gemilang Mahasiswa (GEMA UTM). Hazim’s dedication to community service and NGO work earned him a medal from the Persekutuan Pengakap Malaysia Daerah Pasir Gudang.

Hazim received a scholarship from JPA to fund his degree, and his passion for knowledge led him to participate in workshops, webinars, and global classroom experiences. He is also a Certified Tableau Desktop Specialist. Hazim’s impressive internship at SLB, a prestigious oilfield services company, secured him a permanent job offer before graduation. This is truly a clear testament to his capabilities and the impact of his work
