This initiative, a continuation of the “Singgah Kasih Mahasiswa 3.0” program, aimed to raise awareness among Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) students about the importance of volunteerism and to assist the B40 community who are less fortunate.

This program, in collaboration with the Masjid Al-Jawahir committee, provided essential items to 40 families, both at the mosque and directly to their homes. Volunteers prepared and packaged items, including food supplies, hygiene products, and other necessities, and distributed them through a formal ceremony and home visits.

The SKM 4.0 program had a significant positive impact on both the recipients and the volunteers. The aid provided much-needed relief to the families, helping to ease their daily struggles, while the volunteers gained valuable insights into the importance of empathy and community service. The programme fostered a sense of community and solidarity, promoting a culture of giving among UTM students. Overall, the success of SKM 4.0 highlights the importance of collaborative efforts in addressing community needs and building a compassionate society.
