In line with the goals of Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), a University for the Community, Faculty of Management’s Information Systems academicians proposed a programme that targets the nearby community of Taman Sri Pulai to benefit from the existing expertise and talents of UTM.
Congratulations are extended to Dr. Nazmona Mat Ali (Project Leader), and to Dr. Norasnita Ahmad (Deputy Project Leader) on the successful acquisition of the Knowledge Transfer Programme-Research Innovation Grant (UTM KTP-RIG) 2024 under the UTM Centre for Community and Industry Network – CCIN!
This project takes initiative from the Dasar Komuniti Negara (DKN) or National Community Policy for the purpose of developing communities to create a quality environment, empower community activities for joint management and maintenance, and encourage community involvement in local development planning.
The project consists of 4 sub-projects:
• Sub-Project 1: Digitisation of Neighbourhood Welfare Management led by Dr. Norasnita Ahmad, Faculty of Management, UTM
• Sub-Project 2: Safe and Prosperous Neighbourhood, led by Dr. Norafneeza Norazahar, Faculty of Chemical and Energy Engineering, UTM
• Sub-Project 3: Digital Citizenship, led by Dr. Nazmona Mat Ali, Faculty of Management, UTM
• Sub-Project 4: Healthy and Active Sri Pulai, Dr. Asha Hasnimy Mohd Hashim, Faculty of Social Sciences and Humanities, UTM
