On October 15, 2024, Faculty of Management, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) warmly welcomed a delegation from the Faculty of Economy and Business, Universitas Syiah Kuala, Aceh, Indonesia. The delegation led by the Dean, Prof. Dr. Faisal, S.E., M.Si., M.A. visited our faculty along with 22 academic staff members and a student, engaged in a productive academic visit focused on strengthening partnerships. The event commenced with a welcoming speech by the Dean of the Faculty of Management, Prof. Dr Ahmad Jusoh, followed by speech by Prof Dr Faisal, highlighting shared goals and values. Both faculties discussed avenues for collaboration in teaching, research, community engagement, and opportunities for student and staff mobility, setting a promising foundation for future joint activities.
The visit also marked a significant milestone with the signing of a complementary agreement, which fulfils the initial Memorandum of Understanding and formally initiates collaborative efforts between the institutions. This agreement is anticipated to enhance academic exchange and support a variety of mutual activities that will benefit both faculties, further enriching the educational and research environment through combined efforts in knowledge sharing and development.
