10 November 2024 – Faculty of Management UTM had the pleasure of welcoming a delegation of 32 academics staff from the Faculty of Economics, Universitas Sriwijaya (UNSRI), Palembang, Indonesia. Led by Vice Dean of Academic Affairs, Professor Isnurhadi, the delegation was warmly received by Prof. Dr. Ahmad bin Jusoh, Dean of the Faculty of Management, UTM.
The visit, aimed at strengthening academic ties, provided an invaluable platform for both institutions to explore collaborative opportunities in research, visiting professorships and further study at the PhD level. Discussions centered around joint research initiatives, academic exchanges, and potential pathways for Universitas Sriwijaya faculty and students to pursue studies at UTM.
The Faculty of Economics at Universitas Sriwijaya and UTM’s Faculty of Management are optimistic that this collaboration will enhance educational and research excellence, providing lasting benefits for faculty, students and the wider academic community.
