Dr. Faradina Ahmad
Dr. Faradina Ahmad has been with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) since 2024 and currently serves as a lecturer at the Faculty of Management. She specialises in Contract Law, Commercial Law, and Company Law, bringing over 23 years of professional and academic experience across Malaysia and the United States. Her research passion is grounded in Halal logistics, legal enforcement, governance, and regulatory compliance, particularly within the broader framework of supply chain integrity. She has authored numerous academic publications in indexed journals and international conference proceedings, covering themes such as halal law enforcement, data privacy, logistics, and regulatory challenges. Dr. Faradina’s strong cross-border exposure—having worked and studied in Malaysia and the United States—has enabled her to participate in and lead various international collaborative research projects involving legal frameworks, halal logistics and halal enforcement. She earned her Bachelor of Laws (LLB) and Advanced Diploma in Law from Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). She later completed a Master of Laws (LLM) at Tulane University, New Orleans, USA. In 2023, she obtained her Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Transportation Planning from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), with a specialisation in Halal Logistics & Legal Frameworks. Her extensive legal background includes in-house corporate legal roles, litigation practice, contract negotiation, and legal advisory work across sectors such as oil & gas, construction, maritime and banking litigation.
