Dr. Rakotoarisao Maminirina Fenitra
Rakotoarisoa Maminirina Fenitra is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Management, UNiveristi Teknologi Malaysia.His academic journey culminated in the successful attainment of a Doctorate in Management Science from the esteemed University of Airlangga in Surabaya, Indonesia. Dr. Fenitra’s illustrious career spans various world-class universities, including notable roles as a lecturer and researcher at Universitas Indonesia, Universitas Airlangga, and Universitas Diponegoro. Dr. Fenitra’s rich research portfolio extends well beyond the confines of academia, as he has played a pivotal role in shaping research endeavors at renowned institutions, including the SMERU Research Institute and the Resilience Development Initiative (RDI). In addition, he has taken on the role of a founder at ASTA Research Center, a prominent independent research organization in Madagascar. This demonstrates his commitment to pushing the boundaries of research and contributing significantly to the field. Dr. Fenitra’s primary research interests revolve around Marketing Management, Tourism, and Hospitality. His scholarly contributions are evident through the authorship of numerous book chapters and journal papers, which stand as a testament to his dedication and expertise in these fields. Dr. Fenitra is not only committed to his academic pursuits but also has a keen interest in the post-COVID-19 revival of the tourist management industry and the global prospects for development. Additionally, he is deeply fascinated by the intricacies of tourist psychology and development studies, employing a comprehensive approach that encompasses both qualitative and quantitative methodologies. His dedication to advancing knowledge and fostering collaboration in these areas is a testament to his passion and commitment to the field of consumer and tourism research.
