Dr. Hanini Ilyana Che Hashim
Dr. Hanini Ilyana Che Hashim is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Management, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), specialising in finance, sustainable economic development, and public policy. She holds a PhD from the Malaysian Institute of Transport, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), where her doctoral research focused on halal human capital development. She also earned her Master of Business Administration in Corporate Management and a Bachelor of Finance from UiTM. Dr. Hanini is a certified Associate Member of the Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Institute, reflecting her professional commitment to financial excellence. With extensive academic and administrative experience, she currently leads teaching and research in the Department of Accounting and Finance, delivering courses in finance, accounting, marketing, logistics, entrepreneurship, and management. Her earlier roles include serving as Principal and Head of Department at Imperia College, where she oversaw curriculum development, government liaison functions, and programme coordination. She has also contributed to industry through roles in semiconductor production planning and banking operations. Dr. Hanini is actively involved in major national and state-level research initiatives. She contributes to the Johor Green Development Policy 2030 (PPHJ 2030), the Blueprint Food Security Johor Biotech 2030, the National Sewerage Plan 2030, and economic impact research for the Sedenak Data Centre. Her research spans sustainability, fintech, halal logistics, lean manufacturing, and human capital development, with numerous publications in these areas. Dedicated to advancing knowledge, policy, and community development, Dr. Hanini continues to drive impactful research and academic leadership at UTM.
