Dr. Logaiswari Indiran

Dr. Logaiswari Indiran is a senior academic and entrepreneurship educator at the Department of Marketing and Entrepreneurship, Faculty of Management, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). She graduated with a Bachelor of Business Administration (Hons) from the University of Malaya in 1999, followed by a Master of Education (Technical and Vocational) in 2002. She completed her PhD in Management at UTM in 2018, where her outstanding doctoral work earned the Merit Thesis Award, Certificate of Excellence, Best PhD Student (Management), and the MTDC Innovation Book Prize Award. Her research focuses on entrepreneurship, innovation management, business incubators, intellectual capital, business sustainability, and business models. Dr. Logaiswari’s passion for entrepreneurship and innovation is reflected in her strong record of achievements. She won the Expriex BMC ASEAN 2016, became a finalist in the International BMC 2016 in the United States, and received the Gold Award at the International Invention Innovation Competition in Canada (iCAN 2016). She was also a finalist in the Sasin Business Plan Competition in Bangkok (2018), earned Gold at INNOPLEN 2019, and secured multiple Gold Awards at NALI 2021, 2022, and 2024. In 2024, she was honoured as the Best NALI Educator. Dr. Logaiswari is a Certified Trainer, an Alibaba Certified Global E-Commerce Talent Lecturer, and a graduate of the 3EP Professional Certificate in Entrepreneurial Education. She also completed a six-week international training program in India on entrepreneurship and incubation. Her global footprint includes keynote speeches, training, and mentorship across China, India, the Philippines, Pakistan, the UAE, and Turkey. She continues to collaborate on national research grants and mentor start-ups, contributing significantly to Malaysia’s entrepreneurship ecosystem.
