Dr. Rasha Najib Ahmed Abdullah Al-Jabali

Dr. Rasha Najib Al-Jabali has been with Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM) since 2025 and is currently a senior lecturer in the Information Systems Department, Faculty of Management. Her research passion is grounded in health behavior change, mobile health (m-Health), mobile fitness applications (MFA), technology adoption, and post-adoption behaviors. She used both quantitative approaches and design science research to explore technology-driven solutions for health and education. She has contributed to the field of Information Systems through publications in reputable journals and conference proceedings. She is open to cross-border collaborations in projects and research, such as Data-Driven Decision Making, Business Intelligence, Business Analytics, Health Behavioral Change Techniques, and Digital Health. She has contributed to the field of Information Systems through publications in reputable journals and conference proceedings. She contributed as a peer reviewer in several top-tier journals, including the International Journal of Pharmaceutical and Healthcare Marketing, Journal of Medical Internet Research, JMIR MHealth and UHealth, and International Journal of Human–Computer Interaction. Dr. Rasha earned her bachelor’s degree in 2005 from Sana’a University and, Master’s of Information Technology Management from UTM. Her PhD thesis is on the User’s Continuance Intention Model in Using Mobile Fitness Applications (UTM – 2024). Currently, she is open to supervising Master’s and PhD students, particularly in areas related to Business Analytics, health behavior change using IS technologies, technology adoption, post-adoption behavior, gamification, m-Health, and mobile fitness applications.
