Dr. Rasha Najib Ahmed Abdullah Al-Jabali
Dr. Rasha is a Senior Lecturer in Information Systems at Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). She got her PhD in Information Systems from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM), Johor, Malaysia (2024). Her doctoral research focused on developing a user’s continuance intention model for using mobile fitness applications by integrating the Expectation Confirmation Model (ECM) with Neutralization Techniques. Her research interests include health behavior change, mobile health (m-Health), mobile fitness applications, technology adoption, and post-adoption behaviors. She used both quantitative approaches and design science research to explore technology-driven solutions for health and education. Dr. Rasha also holds a Master’s degree in Information Technology from the School of Computing, UTM (2019), with a specialization in Personalized E-learning, Gamification, and Learning Styles. Before that, she earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Sana’a University. Before joining UTM, Dr. Rasha served as a Lecturer at Sana’a Community College. She taught programming languages, database administration systems, and other IT-related courses, as well as supervised students’ graduation projects. She has contributed to the field of Information Systems through publications in reputable journals and conference proceedings. Currently, she is open to supervising Master’s and PhD students, particularly in areas related to health behavior change using IS technologies, technology adoption, post-adoption behavior, gamification, m-Health, and mobile fitness.
