Dr. Siti Aisah Sahlan
Dr. Siti Aisah Binti Sahlan is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Management, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia (UTM). She holds a PhD in Management and a Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Development, both from UTM. Her doctoral research examined the moderating effect of entrepreneurial self-efficacy on personal and environmental factors influencing academic research commercialization. Before entering academia, she developed substantial professional experience in human resource management, including workforce planning, training and development, employee engagement, performance appraisal, disciplinary management, and internal quality auditing. This industry background strengthens her applied approach to teaching and research in management fields. Dr. Siti Aisah has published in indexed and non-indexed journals, contributing research on entrepreneurial self-efficacy, commercialization behavior, and issues related to human resource development. She has presented her work at various international conferences and actively participates in seminars and academic colloquia. She is also involved in the development of academic materials and has contributed to book publications in the area of technology-based ventures. Her research interests span organizational behavior, human resource management, and research commercialization. She is committed to integrating industry experience with academic inquiry, promoting practice-oriented learning, and advancing knowledge that supports organizational development and innovation within the Malaysian context.
