Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siti Rahmah Awang
Siti Rahmah Awang is now an Associate Professor at Faculty of Management. She has had the experience of 27 years in academics. Before she turned into an academician, she was working as a Planning Assistant Manager at an international company and she also had the experience of being an administration assistant at a graphics company in Sheffield, United Kingdom. Siti Rahmah started her academic career as a lecturer at MARA Institute of Technology (now known as Universiti Teknologi MARA) in 1993 and then she joined Universiti Teknologi Malaysia in 2002, and she has been working at UTM ever since.
Siti Rahmah is a qualified mathematician and statistician who graduated from California State University, USA in Bachelor of Mathematics and Statistics. She continued her masters degree in statistics at University of Sheffield, UK and then, she pursued her Phd study in Applied Statistics (Psychometrics) at Universiti Teknologi MARA.
Her expertise and her research works are more focused on Multiple Intelligence and Fuzzy Modelling in which she has applied them in research and consultation on psychometrics, emotional intelligence, leadership and social science research. She knows well that she can be more successful with her mantra of “to be successful you need to be courageous, to be committed and to be humble”.
