Dr. Teh Zaharah Yaacob
Dr. Teh Zaharah Yaacob joined the Faculty of Management, UTM, after 18 years of involvement in the insurance and banking industry. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Insurance and Risk Management from Universiti Teknologi Mara (UiTM) and a Master of Business Administration from UiTM. Her PhD thesis is on the area of Halal Meat Supply Chain Risk Management and Governance (UiTM- 2019). She developed her analytical and risk analysis skills through her attachment to various insurance companies as a life underwriter and risk analyst. She has been attached to many private universities and colleges, teaching working adults and full-time students before her tenure at UTM. Her involvement in education for many years has developed her skill and expertise in delivering quality lectures and interactive student supervision. She has also been involved in curriculum review, quality control and program development. Her role as a Head of Programme for the Undergraduate program in the faculty developed her leadership and autonomy skills. Her robust research capability has enabled her to be involved in many publications and consultations in Halal supply chain management and management research.
